Develop a Path to Help Your Business
There are different types of websites but they have many similar features and layout.
There are basic websites to inform visitors about your brand, or eCommerce platforms to sell your products and services or a blog to display your posts.
Most websites have a combination of those functions. Some are simple, one-page sites whilst others have multiple pages.
All the websites I build are mobile-friendly (according to google, mobile usage accounts for approximately half of the web traffic worldwide). Makes sense as many will be using their mobile devices on the go – wherever they go.
That said the site will appear well on all devices.
Additionally, it will be an SEO-friendly website. If serious SEO is required this is out of my scope of work.
However, where necessary, I collaborate with a network of professionals to deliver the end result.
Mock-up
Together we will get an understanding of what you’re expecting in terms of the general look & feel of the website. The overall purpose of the website, how many pages and you will provide any text and pictures for each page.
I’ll produce mockups for each page including headers, footers, buttons and links for you to approve in principle.
Development &
Testing
The next step will be for me to transform the agreed on mockups into actual web pages.
I will ensure that the new website is ready to be properly indexed by all search engines.
I will thoroughly test all the elements to ensure everything looks and works as it should on all devices.
Review & Approval
At this point, a private, password-protected version of the site will be made available so you can review everything and ask for any final amendments. As soon as you are pleased with the final result the site is made public and the password protection is lifted.
“Et voila – you are in business.”
